Scientifically, this mushroom is known as Coriolus versicolor or Tremetes Versicolor.
In Japan they call it Kawaratake, or “mushroom by the riverbank.”
The Chinese call it Yun Zhi, which means “cloud fungus;”
Turkey Tail mushrooms contain many beneficial compounds and nutrients such as: Beta Glucan polysaccharides, selenium, vitamin B3 and vitamin D, Triterpenes, Polyphenols and Sterols. These beneficial compounds have been linked to boosting your immune system, gut health and digestion.
